Does the CalAnnuityCE course satisfy California's training
requirements?
Yes, CalAnnuityCE answers the State's initial eight-hour annuity training dilemma
by providing an easy-to-follow self-study format. Agents will receive
credit for 8 hours without having to attend classroom sessions.
Will I need to take an exam?
Since absolutely no classroom time is required to meet the
training requirements, you must pass a multiple choice exam consisting
of 35 questions. A passing grade of at least 70% must be attained
before a Certificate Of Completion can be awarded. CalAnnuityCE
is comprehensive yet comprehendible -- written by trained and experienced
professionals.
What if I fail the exam?
In the event you fail, we allow you to re-take the test a second
time at no additional cost.
How long do I have to complete the CalAnnuityCE course?
SFG Annuity Trainers allow one year (12 months) from the purchase date to complete the
CalAnnuityCE Course. However, until you have satisfactorily completed an approved course, you are
not authorized to sell annuities.
How will the California Department of Insurance know I have
passed CalAnnuityCE?
Upon receipt of your passing grade, we will notify the Department
of Insurance for you.
How is my Course Completion Date determined?
Your Course Completion Date will be the date we receive confirmation
that you tested and passed the exam. Online testing is the quickest
method to expedite your Course Completion Date.
Is SFG Annuity Trainers an approved course provider?
Yes, SFG Annuity Trainers is an approved course provider with
